The OPP called us on July 4th; there was a baby pig found on a back road tonight and they brought her to us.
She had a rough start
This little girl had a nasty fall and has ended up with a fractured jaw. She has 2 swollen toes, and a lot of abrasions that have scabbed over. It seems like she fell off a truck at least 3 – 4 days ago, if not longer.
We’ve nursed other pigs back to health, so I’m confident we’ll get this little one feeling better with time.
